Old Members

Welcome to The Oxford Union's Old Members' section. Perhaps you have fond memories of your time at the Union, or would like to revisit old haunts? Oxford Union membership is for life and we would love to hear from you.

Old Members' Newsletter, Hilary Term 2009
The Oxford Union has recently published its Hilary Term 2009 Old Members' Newsletter (11.2MB).

It is also possible to view our Michaelmas Term 2008 Old Members' Newsletter (5.7MB).

Getting in Touch
It is always a pleasure for us to hear Old Members' news, and reassuring for us to hear that others have, over the years, trodden the same boards. Our newly-appointed Old Members' Officer, Alexander Priest, can be found at oldmembers[AT]oxford-union.org, or perhaps you would just like to register for our email alerts?

Contacting friends
It may also be possible, with their permission, to put you in touch with friends and contempories from your time at the Union. Why not come back to one of our debates as a party, and make an evening of it?

Coming Back
The President and Officers will be pleased to welcome you back at any time. Perhaps you and your family would like to attend a debate or a speaker event? We may even be able to offer you dinner with the speakers beforehand (for which there may be a small charge). Old Members are more than welcome to attend debates and meetings on production of their membership card. They may also usually bring up to three guests (for £3 each, payable on the door). Please contact our Old Members' Officer to enquire (oldmembers[AT]oxford-union.org).

Updating your details
Updating your details in our registration section will allow us to send you invitations to Old Members' events, news and information. It will also let us contact you if your friends want to get in touch.
